Paul Deangelo is a master at his craft. His
technique, sculpting and attention to detail are
unmatched in the world of fish taxidermy. Paul has
mounted two striped bass for me and I plan on
having him mount many more to come as I build my
own striper wall of fame. When friends come to my
house, many have said the fish look as though they
were pulled from the water and are hanging on the
wall still alive and wet. These fish are more than just
some of my greatest personal accomplishments but
a piece of artwork even my wife can appreciate.
Thanks Paul.

Dear Paul,
I am more than happy to write a testimonial about
my striper mount. My 61lb 14oz striper mount is
as good as when you finished it in 1988. Virtually
no cracks in the skin and the colors are as brilliant
as when I first received it. I might also add, the
mount has been at our Narragansett family summer
beach house for the past 22 years and it has been
subjected to summer and winter heat temperature
extremes without affecting the quality of the mount.
Over the past 20 plus years I have compared my
fish mount to countless other stripers and have
never found one that equaled mine. As you may
remember, I contacted you to do my fish because
of the beautiful job you did on Joe Zabos 70 lber.
Good luck in your new shop.
Regards, Al Pellini
“I have seen lots of mounts, some skin, some fiberglass but I
have always thought that they came up short when really
capturing the true beauty of the actual fish. Paul’s mounts
actually appear alive and feature the sheen and lifelike depth
of a freshly caught striped bass. I can say with absolutely no
reservations that his mounts are the best I have ever seen—
no one else has come close.”

Paul,
Back in 1984 you did a striper mount for me. I must say,, it still
looks like you mounted it a month ago. This only proves when
you get the right person to do the work it pays... great job!!!!
The skin mount is much nicer to look at than a fiberglass painted
mount..great work my friend ! Thanks so much.
