About the Artist
Paul DeAngelo started his company in 1978 in the shoreline town of Guilford
Connecticut located on Long Island Sound. His love for hunting and fishing
became evident at a young age with his father Paul "Sonny" DeAngelo who was an
avid outdoors man.

Paul eventually left home to pursue a wildlife biology degree at the University of
Wyoming. While there, he became interested in the field of taxidermy. To
perfect his craft, he attended various schools and private classes that were taught
by some  of the finest fish taxidermists in the world at that time. He combines
many years of experience and knowledge of his craft to create true lifelike
positioning and coloring that is unique in the taxidermy industry today. These
techniques enable him to mount hundreds of trophy fish each year for sportsmen.

His studio eventually relocated to Upstate New York in the Port Town of Oswego
on Lake Ontario. Upon doing so, years later his studio became
the largest
volume fresh water fish taxidermy studio in the entire Northeast.

Paul's love of the great Northwest and Alaska made him decide to move to the
small coastal town of Gold Beach in Southern Oregon on the Rogue River
where he resides at the present time with his wife, Lesly and continues his craft.
Inspired by large trophy Alaska Salmon, Paul & Lesly live in Alaska every summer
providing Fish Taxidermy services to fisherman throughout Alaska.
